Its members include some of the world's largest IT, telecoms and consumer electronics companies and national associations from every part of Europe. DIGITALEUROPE wants a European Union that nurtures and supports digital technology industries, and that prospers from the jobs it provides, the innovation and economic benefits it delivers and the societal challenges it addresses.

 

DIGITALEUROPE’s members include 58 corporate members and 36 national trade associations from across Europe.

Founded in 1994, INFOBALT is a locally and internationally recognized representative of Lithuanian ICT industry.Mission of INFOBALT is to promote the use of Information and Communication Technologies to benefit society, businesses and public sector. The association has more than 140 members, including national and global businesses, universities, colleges and research institutions involved in ICT education, employing more than 10,000 experienced ICT professionals, teachers and researchers.

 

Representation of national ICT industry, it's strategic development, fostering of ICT export and promotion of ICT education are the key priorities for INFOBALT.

The Latvian Information and Communications Technology Association - LIKTA - is a professional association, founded in 1998, that regroups over 77 important ICTE product and service providers and educational institutions, as well as about 77 individual professional members of the ICTE industry sector in Latvia, namely in computer hardware and software, electronics, and telecommunications infrastructure and service providers.

 

LIKTA is a non-governmental, democratic organisation, respecting and balancing the rights of its corporate members and its individual members. All decisions are consensus based.
Latvia wholly endorses the objectives of e-Europe and intends to become a full partner of the knowledge based global economy. It has elaborated its own e-Latvia strategy as well as an e-government model.

Established as a non-profit organization and operating for over 10 years, Ukrainian Hi-Tech Initiative is a leading Ukrainian association of IT outsourcing companies. One of the main objectives of the association is to promote Ukrainian software development companies and the positive image of Ukrainian IT outsourcing industry in global markets.

 

Ukrainian Hi-Tech Initiative provides its members with the opportunity to enhance their business in the areas of IT outsourcing and offshore software development by using the partner network and marketing channels of the association in the external markets.

AP KIT (Information & Computer Technologies Industry Association) is the most representative noncommercial association in the Russian IT Industry. Association members have earned acclaim as leading Russian and international businesses, distributors, system integrators, vendors and developers. By many accounts, AP KIT members control up to 70% of the official market. 

 

The Association concentrates efforts of individual companies into consolidated opinion of the branch through negotiations with public authorities. The Association defends the interests of the IT branch and favours the expansion of the market. This is a collaborative effort with the government authorities and a mechanism for interaction within the IT. It`s a coordinated actions aimed to expand and develop IT market.

Founded in 1978, the World Information Technology and Services Alliance (WITSA) is a leading consortium of ICT industry association members from over 80 countries/economies around the world. WITSA’s members represent more than 90 percent of the world ICT market.

 

As the leading recognized voice of the global ICT industry, WITSA aims to drive transformation and grow the industry given that ICT is the key driver of the global economy.

 

WITSA Promotes industry cooperation and strengthenth national associations through the sharing of knowledge, experience, and critical information.

In accordance with the Korean government's basic plan for comprehensive trade automation, KTNET was established in 1989 with 100% investment by the Korea International Trade Association (KITA).

 

KTNET, which the government designated as a trade automation business (presently known as National Paperless Trade Infrastructure Provider ) in 1992, has contributed to the innovative improvement of trade processes and reduction of trade-related expenses by realizing automation services for all the complex processes of export & import businesses through establishment of paperless trade infrastructure, achieving economic effects that reach US$ 5.57 billion annually.
